Meet our Leading Staff & Dedicated Volunteers

Volunteer Requirements & Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for Yellow Diamond Records. For our events to be successful, volunteers play a critical role in overseeing specific areas. Their enthusiasm, support, and dedication make our events a memorable experience for customers and audience members.

To help make this year’s event a successful and positive experience for everyone, we expect all volunteers to abide by the following requirements:

1. Volunteers must register online (See Form below).

2. The volunteer age minimum is 18 years old.

We require that all volunteers be 18 years of age or older on the day they are volunteering. Children and young adults under the age of 18 are not permitted to accompany registered volunteers.

3. Wear your event volunteer uniform.

Please wear comfortable shoes and leave your valuables at home. You must wear provided event T-shirt and wristband at all times to be on the premises. T-shirt and wristband is given at time of check-in.

4. Must work from start to end of event.

Due to the nature of our event, volunteers will need to work from start to end of event and are expected to eat and use restroom prior. It is up to volunteers to use their discretion when taking breaks. Volunteers must let team captain know when needing water or restroom break so coverage can be provided until their return to post.

5. Drugs and alcohol are prohibited.

Volunteers may not consume alcoholic beverages, smoke cigarettes or use illegal drugs while working during event production hours. Volunteers are required to report to work in appropriate mental and physical condition to perform their jobs in a satisfactory manner. Violations of this requirement will lead to termination of position, return of provided event T-shirt and wristband, and given the option of leaving premises or paying event admission fee to stay.

1. Arrive on time.

Volunteers are expected to arrive 2 hours prior to event door opening to receive training and additional materials in order to prepare for the event. Your team captain will confirm your check-in time, location and next steps. Don’t hold up your team because you were late.

2. Remember that you will appear as a representative of the event due to your branded uniform and role at the event.

Keep this in mind and always conduct yourself in an appropriate and respectful manner.

3. Enjoy your time as a Volunteer and have fun!

You are one of the reasons that volunteers enjoy the event and love coming back every year. We highly value your kindness, dedication and commitment to this event.
